THEOLOGY OF THE BODY FOR TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS

This is a exciting and dynamic program based on St. John Paul II’s
vision of human sexuality that he called “Theology of the Body.”
It is revolutionizing the way parents and educators teach
morality and chastity to teens as it provides the
“whys” behind the “what’s,” paving the way to true freedom and happiness.

This series is being offered to High School teens
every Monday from June 9 through August 25.
The evening will begin with the 5:30 PM Mass, a dinner at 6:00 PM and the course from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
This program will give teens the answers and the tools
they need to successfully and safely navigate through life.
The suggested donation is $20.00 per person.

Cat.Chat Vacation Bible School: Marvelous Mystery - The Mass Comes Alive

We at St. Leo Church are so excited to have your children participate in this year’s Cat.Chat Vacation Bible School: Marvelous Mystery - The Mass Comes Alive from July 28 to August 1, 8:45-noon. This program has been especially designed to help the Holy Mass come alive for every young disciple of Jesus Christ!

During the week, your children will come to better understand the Catholic Mass and deepen their love and appreciation for Jesus in the Eucharist. The mystery of the Mass will be explored through skits, songs, crafts, games and the loving guidance of small group and station leaders who are lovers of Jesus and worship Him from the heart. Every day has its own sub-theme and a corresponding verse from Sacred Scripture!
  • Day 1 – The Mass is a Mystery, “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.” John 6:56
  • Day 2 - The Mass is a Gift, “This is my body given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19
  • Day 3 - The Mass is a Celebration, “Rejoice in the Lord always!” Phillippians 4:4
  • Day 4 - The Mass is a Meal, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever.” John 6:51
  • Day 5 - The Mass is a Call, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” Matthew 28:19
Registration forms can be found here as can a health form for each child found here or in the parish office.

For more information call Dominic Salamida at 392-2710. We look forward to serving you and sharing in the amazing love of Christ!
