Pastoral Care of the Sick:

In considering Jesus' special love for those suffering an illness, whether it be physical, emotional, or mental, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, serves as a powerful means of experiencing our Lord's healing compassion. Although frequently thought of the Sacrament of "Last Rites" before death, this sacrament actually goes beyond this. When you or a loved one is seriously ill, preparing for surgery, enduring severe emotional distress, or weakened from the burdens of old age, consider this sacrament for God's grace, strength and hope. In the event of an emergency please call the pastoral hotline at (585) 317.5430. To arrange for reception of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please call the parish office at (585) 392.2710

Visitation Ministry:

Being Christ-like for one another is the mission of each member of St. Leo's Visitation Ministry. As the Body of Christ we strive to be a prayer-filled presence for all homebound, hospitalized and nursing home residents of the St. Leo community. Our hope is to an active agent who listens and empathizies while sharing in the journey of faith and in the blessings and struggles of our brothers & sisters. We do this by offering our own prayer, presence & participation, as well as Holy Communion, while seeking a deeper awareness of God's presence, love and peace; and in doing so we hope to restore unity with the larger faith community. To arrange for home, hospital or nursing home visit please call the parish office at (585) 392-2710
