Todd Agnew : Reflection of Something *****
This is probably the most amazing CD I have bought in a long time.  I love Todd's voice, and he mixes it up with some great
sounds, and awesome lyrics.
My Jesus is an great reflection of who Christ was, and how we should "look" and act more like
Him and like the rest of the world.  The most haunting and inspiring song on the CD is called
In The Cross,  A great song to
contemplate during stations of the cross, it is a reflection of why Christ died... for
our sins.  This CD has different sounds,
mostly Rock (not too hard)  but infused with a little bit of jazz, blues, and anything else, but a common theme.  It asks us to
look at ourselves, and who we are.  Do we question God?  Are we trying to be like Christ?  I HIGHLY recommend this CD to
anyone.  It is a MUST have for Christian Music fans.   Todd also has an album coming out soon called
"Do You See What I
See"
which looks to be new, original Christmas songs.  There is a new song on it called Did You Know which is already getting
air play, and I guarantee will be a winner!
Jonah 33 : The Strangest Day *****
The more I listen, the more I like this CD.  This debut album is a good solid rock album, balanced with a few mellow songs, and
filled with great lyrics. (A tough thing to find these days)  This album is surreptitiously Christian.  There's no doubt when you
really listen... the messages are there, and strong, but it is well suited for believers and non-believers alike.
The Strangest Day, the catchy title song, and Desensitized, a hard-edge both warn of being lost in the world and "living
comatose" and just accepting things without question.  The Father's Song reminds us that adults need to be role models for
their kids.  "A boy is the only thing that God can use to make a man." and they are formed out of their surroundings.
Search
Me, Know Me
is also areal good song.  I will be looking foward to their next CD

Jars of Clay : The Good Monsters *****
This is the latest from a band that has quietly put together some excellent music.  They don't get a lot of radio play, but they
have a pretty big group of loyal listeners, and they don't disappoint with this album.  The Good Monsters is one of those
albums with subtle but very clear Christian messages.
Dead Man is one of the catchiest songs on the album, with a quick beat
and clean vocals.
Good Monsters has a sound that is both reminiscent of older rock, yet contemporary.  The album changes
pace a few time, starting with several faster, harder songs, then settling into a calmer, more meditative level, before
bringing you back up with
Take Me Higher and Smoke and Mirrors.  This is a very good set, with varying sounds.  I'd
recommend it as well as an earlier album called "If I Left the Zoo" from 1999.
