New Notice from Fr. Joe
The Importance of cleaning crews:
We (our parish and the Diocese) are patiently waiting for the State to tell us we can open our churches. We know it will be a percentage of normal occupancy. To be able to add more Masses we need dedicated cleaning crews for each Mass. This is very important; otherwise we won’t be able to have more Masses. So if you are not a vulnerable person as described by the CDC, and want to help, we really need you. I need a commitment for each Mass: 5 PM on Saturday, 8,10, and noon on Sunday. Please let us know if you are willing to be trained and make the commitment. I so want to be ready on the day it is announced that we can open up, but I can’t do it without your help. The Lord will bless you for your willingness to have the Eucharist celebrated once again at St. Leo.
St. Leo’s will be live streaming Saturday’s 5:00 PM Mass on Facebook
- I can’t find the mass. If you search St Leo Hilton you will see the blue picture below. Click on that picture and it will take you to the Mass.
- I press play and nothing is happening. Sometimes when you record a live stream it is longer than the mass. In this weekend mass you might want to skip forward about 15:25 mins starts music. or so until you see Fr Joe. You can always back up the bar to the beginning of the mass.

St. Leo’s Mass, Sunday, May 24: Fr. Joe will celebrate Mass for the Sixth Sunday of Easter below is the youtube link.
ROSARY RESUMES AT SHRINE
It is a Tuesday night tradition to say the Rosary at Mary’s Shrine, weather permitting, throughout the summer months. All are welcome, especially during the month of May, traditionally a month to honor Our Blessed Mother Mary. Seating is limited, bring a lawn chair, your Rosary and come to Mary’s Shrine at 7:00 PM. Dress for the weather.
All CDC rules must be followed: a limit of 10 people only can participate, everyone must wear a mask, and maintain the 6 foot distancing.
Until the Parish receives further guidance from the Bishop of Rochester, St Leo’s will continue Live streaming Mass via Facebook at 5pm on Saturdays.
We realize the confusion between Federal and State guidance on the opening of Churches. Your patience is appreciated .
St Leo’s will keep you informed of changes via Facebook, Web page and email.
Please note that once we are able to attend Mass all CDC recommended guidelines will be followed.
Persons who are in the High Risk category as defined by the CDC are recommended not to attend Mass.
We are accepting Parish Council nominations
