The forty hours of Eucharistic Adoration will be spread across all parishes of the deanery. Participate in all forty hours or at a time that is convienent. Questions? The course will reflect on the nature and significance of the Eucharist in the life of the Church. Combining both a historical and thematic approach, the course will examine the developing understanding of the sacrament of the Eucharist through time, as well as theological themes of Eucharistic spirituality, including: the significance of the Eucharist to Ecclesiology, the Eucharist and the Marian and Petrine dimensions of the Church, the understanding of the three-fold nature of the Body of Christ, the Eucharist as sacrament, etc.

Notre Dame Retreat House is offering several weekend retreats this fall on the importance of the Eucharist and why it is a gift and the action that should inspire our every day living. Retreats will offer thoughts on the different aspects of the Mass such as Mass and its History; Mass as a Meal; Mass as Thanksgiving and Mass as Mission. Registration is limited!
Nocturnal Adoration Prayer Vigils
The Nocturnal Adoration Society sponsors monthly prayer vigils at several parishes in the Diocese of Rochester. The hour-long prayer vigils are a special adaptation of The Liturgy of the Hours and include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, psalms, scripture, spiritual readings, prayers, and silent adoration.
